Larentul is one of the most important harbours on the northern hemisphere of Heroa. It is known for its clean, even walls and the care for them. Even the high Lighthouse, which is probably the most quiet place in the whole bay, looks like almost untouched by the wind and sea.

Merchants travel from far to sell their goods in this renowned city.

Further south, not visible from the top of the Lighthouse, lies The Island, a small place that is ruled by the mere power of Time. No one has ever made it there without the Gods blessing...

It is said that the ghosts of those who failed reaching The Island on their own, return to Larentul in stormy nights and that their cries of misery howl through the alleys. That is why every door has a small hole shortly above the ground, so the sailors's ghosts may come in for shelter, if they see a candle placed inside in front of the hole.

" . . . There are many doors.

Where they lead, is not always clear.

Only Janus might know, what lies behind.

So we should never open a door irresponsibly.

Or better let it remain shut.

Though – who never opens a door, will never know, what lies behind . . . "
